Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, and our Cookie Policy to understand how we use cookies and similar technologies.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and notify you via in-app notice or email where required by law. If a change is material, we will give you at least 14 days’ notice before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, with or without notice, if:
- you breach any provision of these Terms;
- we are required to do so by law or regulatory authority;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or abusive activity; or
- continued provision of the Service to you becomes commercially unviable.
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the application and cancelling any active subscription. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations accrued before termination.
16. Mergers, Acquisitions, and Business Transfers
Budgetwise Limited may, at any time, sell, transfer, assign, or otherwise dispose of all or a part of its business, assets, or shares, including through a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or insolvency proceeding. In such circumstances:

- your data may be transferred as part of the business transfer, subject to equivalent data protection obligations;
- we will notify you of any such transfer where required by law;
- you acknowledge that any acquirer may operate the Service under a different name, branding, or set of features; and
- we will give you at least 30 days’ notice before any such transfer takes effect, during which time you may export your data or delete your account.
17. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government, war or civil unrest, power failures, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or regulatory changes (“Force Majeure Event”). We will use reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of any Force Majeure Event and resume performance as soon as practicable.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
